Young Entrepreneurs of America Documentary
If you are like 80 percent of Americans, you believe that the U.S. economy has been, and will continue to be, built by entrepreneurs like yourself. Accordingly, if indeed the U.S. economy is going to have a sustained recovery, it will be up to its entrepreneurs to lead the way.We are making a documentary to get the U.S. Government to notice Youth-Owned Businesses. What are Youth-Owned Businesses? youth-owned businesses are businesses that are owned and operated by 13-25 years olds. As a minority and disadvantage businesses organization we feel that when you go on to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) web site the direct you to kiddies website the teach businesses education. There are really no grants or other Finical or consultive resources provided by the Federal or local Governments for this business base. In that light, it appears that the United States Government does not care about its younger citizens because they cannot vote yet. This is a form of Ageism -- never forget -- today’s youth votes tomorrow.
We want to go across America and film young people between the ages of 13-25 how own or operate businesses. To see how they are doing during this global economic times. Once done we hope to show this video at high school & College campus accross America. We also hope to impact the government to inact more programs for young entrepreneur.
